Website progress update - 14/5/2008

Quite a lot has happened in the past month: a number of dedicated patch-watchers have (been) volunteered to write or update Site Guides which will form an important part of the new site, and the first draft text has just landed in my inbox (Thanks Richard).  I'll be creating maps and heaps of links to make it easy for users to find, navigate and enjoy these sites.

I've also recently received the first revised text for an existing area of the site - the one which encourages non-member visitors to join up (Thanks Pete).  There are many more to come, and no doubt keyboards are being hammered across the SBSG recording area!

The site-map has been approved by the web team and sent to Andy, though my experience is that it will undergo a number of changes during the development and testing process in order to make it more intuitive to use.

I've also been involved in the web-presentation of the final push to fill in the last gaps in the Atlas Project, and
I've visited two tetrads already and really enjoyed covering unfamiliar terrain.  PLEASE help us to do this by clicking here to locate sites local to you which need a further look - this is our last chance to ensure that we produce a quality Atlas which will further conservation in our area.
