Friday 19th November 2004
Waverly Opencast [RT]: 2 Snow Buntings flew NW; 1 Snipe  and 16 Meadow Pipits.

Saturday 11th September 2004
Redmires [RDH]: c.100 hirundines and 50 Meadow Pipits all SW.

Saturday 2nd October 2004
Redmires [RDH]: 2 Ring Ouzel NW

Sunday 3rd October 2004
Redmires [RDH]: As well as a  Rock Pipit on the bottom dam wall an unseen Rock/Water flew south. Also: 110 Linnets south; 150 Meadow Pipits south; 80 Chaffinches west; 40 Greenfinch west; 40 Siskin west; 5 Grey Wagtails SW and 3 Swallow south.

Saturday 9th October 2004
Redmires [RDH]: 2000 Redwing N or NE; 170 Wood Pigeon NE; 50 Fieldfare NE; a Yellowhammer south; another unseen Rock/Water Pipit south.

Sunday 10th October 2004
A large north-easterly movement of Redwings this morning including: an estimated 5-10000 through Agden [S.Bailey]; 1050 NE up the Hope Valley over Grindleford [S.Samworth]; oddly, only 320 NE at Redmires [RDH].

Sunday 24th October 2004
At Spout House Hill west of Wharncliffe Side, in 3 hours this morning, all S or SSW unless otherwise stated [R.Dale]: Cormorant - 1; Lapwing - 95 W, 35 NW; Golden Plover - 5 NW; Woodpigeon - 1391; Stock Dove - 4; Skylark - 15; Pied Wagtail - 20; Grey Wagtail - 1; Meadow Pipit - 22; House Martin - 1; Redwing - 95; Fieldfare - 286; Starling - 31; Chaffinch - 94; Brambling - 31; Greenfinch - 22; Goldfinch - 17; Linnet - 21; Reed bunting - 1.
At Redmires [DWo]: 2000+ Woodpigeon SW. Plus: 300+ Fieldfare, 180 Brambling, 200+ Starling and 80 Lesser Redpoll, all west.

Sunday 31st October 2004
At Spout House Hill [R.Dale], 0630 - 0830h, all south unless stated otherwise: Woodpigeon - at least 7220, Stock Dove - 2 west, 1 south; Grey Wagtail - 3; Pied Wagtail - 3; Redwing - 66; Fieldfare - 207; Meadow Pipit - 25; Skylark - 7; Chaffinch - 67; Brambling - 33; Siskin - 1; Greenfinch - 21; Goldfinch - 10; Linnet - 4; Starling - 105.

Friday 5th November 2004
At Ramsley Res [JH]: a large movement of Woodpigeons involving at least 1000 in only 10 minutes or so; and good numbers of Fieldfare SW.
