Leadmill Bridge: Mandarin - 5 - 5 broods between Nether Hall and Harper Lees. ; Canada Goose - 21 - 21 adults, 28 juveniles. ; Little Grebe - 1 ; Goosander - 1 - A single redhead. ; Grey Wagtail - 2 - A pair carrying food.
Orgreave Lakes: Oystercatcher - 2 - on island no sign of young ; Mute Swan - 2 - adults ,+ now only 4 cygnets. ; Cormorant - 1 ; Great Crested Grebe - 12 ; Black-headed Gull - 25 ; Herring Gull - 2

Burbage Valley: Ring Ouzel - 1 male - singing ; Meadow Pipit - 30+ - everywhere - difficult to be accurate on numbers
Ecclesall: Sparrowhawk - 1 - Perched briefly in observer's garden
Headstone Bank: Woodcock - 3+ - roding
Load Brook: Cuckoo - 1
Morehall Res: Great Crested Grebe - 5 - pair with 3 juvs
Reddicar Clough: Cuckoo - 1
Rotherham Centre; Chantry Bridge: Sand Martin - 10-12
Sharrow: Great Tit - 4 - 3 young feeding themselves on dried mealworms with female
Thrybergh CP: Tern sp (Common/Arctic) - 6 - seen flying away N at 0932. Possible Arctic.
