As of 1st June 2025, we have over 345,000 bird sightings listed in our database, and this is growing every day.
Submit a Sighting
Anyone can submit a bird sighting of birds within the Sheffield area. If a member is logged in, then the submission will automatically be added to their My Sightings.
All sightings need to be approved before they go live on the website, so it may take a couple of days before your sighting appears. We reserve the right not to publish a submission.

Under Latest Sightings, logged in Members are able to view bird sightings from over 1300 locations the Sheffield area, for the last 3 years, by month and year.
